Welcome! I am a professional educator with over 20 years of classroom experience, now dedicated to advocating for the well-being of educators. Throughout my career, I have felt the weight of expectations and the stress of teaching. It was during a particularly challenging time in my life that I realized there was a better way to navigate the demands of this profession. This realization led me to mindfulness education, which completely transformed my life.

In addition to my work as a well-being advocate, I am a curriculum writer and creator of The Wellbeing Canvas, a resource designed to integrate well-being practices into the classroom through children's literature. I have also co-authored The Inclusive Classroom in partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), which offers practical strategies for inclusive teaching for multilingual learners.
I am also in the process of writing my first nonfiction book, SPARK Your Success. It shares the experiences of educators, including myself, in the demanding field of teaching and highlights how prioritizing one's well-being can be the key to managing the constant ups and downs of the education system.
Driven by my passion for supporting fellow educators, I developed the SPARK method—a holistic approach designed to help educators prioritize their well-being, rediscover their passion, and reignite their joy in life. I offer SPARK Empowering Learning Experiences and SPARK coaching to inspire teachers to care for themselves first to so they can continuously grow into the best versions of themselves and create positive, lasting impacts on their students.
I live in the Los Angeles area with my two young daughters, and I am committed to helping adults find balance, purpose, and fulfillment in their personal and professional lives.

The Feelings Fairy, LLC is a proud partner with the Multilingual Academic Support Unit at the Los Angeles County Office of Education. Together, they have developed an innovative program titled, "The Inclusive Classroom," which focuses on supporting English Language (EL) learners and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) integration. This collaboration highlights Kristin's commitment to creating inclusive, and supportive learning environments for all students. Cesar E. Chavez Elementary (Montebello USD), a school serving as a program pilot, is currently engaged in an ongoing professional development initiative co-facilitated by Kristin Pittman and Roberta Gonzalez (LACOE MAS).
