New Beginnings

"Who and how I was yesterday has no inherent connection to who and how I choose to be today. My present is not caused by my past, unless I choose that it be so. For in any given moment, regardless of circumstances, I can choose again. I can choose strength instead of weakness, and love instead of fear. I can choose to bless instead of blame, and to lean into the future rather than dragging with me the past."
"The limits of yesterday have no power over the unlimited possibilities of this moment, for in God all things are possible and in God all things are programmed to be perfect. I make myself available to this moment, allowing the spirit of God to illuminate my heart."

I am a huge fan of Marianne Williamson. Her books have inspired me and have helped ignite a passion that I know is my purpose in life. Every morning I enjoy a reflection or daily devotion from her book, "A Year Of Miracles." I am on my second year of it. I have learned new things and have enjoyed re-reading the beautiful words that she shares.

The passage that I put above was one that resonates with me presently. Changing the way I lived and now guiding others to change the way they live has been something that I feel was meant for me. Our perspective on life is the key to joy. Choosing strength, love, to bless and lean into the future to me is accepting every moment for what it is. A learning experience only we have the power to respond to with compassion and kindness. Knowing that if we are our best selves in every moment and admit our faults if need be, the door is open to generating love and light to all.

Let go of what doesn't serve you anymore and live knowing that what is unfolding in front of you is what is meant to be.
