Day Twelve: Today's post is shared by my friend, Cindy. Cindy has a magical backyard (seen in the photo to the right). She has created a space in her backyard that would put anyone who enters it into a state of tranquility. She definitely has an eye for the beauty of nature. "I love being one with the earth. In more simple terms, gardening. I love the feel of the dirt in my hands, pulling weeds, planting, or trimming things that might have overgrown a bit. No matter what is going on in my life, if I grab my clippers and head outside, within a couple of minutes, I am at peace. I don't rush. I take my time. I notice flowers, birds, butterflies, bees, dragonflies, earthworms, or my silly dog. They always give me a little grin. When I finish for the day or just walk by my garden, I literally take time to stop and smell the roses, and maybe, just maybe, they are giving me a little grin back." Take a moment and think about a beautiful garden that you have planted or observed. Notice how it makes you feel. I can smell the sweet smell of flowers. Ahhhh!
Thank you Cindy for taking a moment to share something you love.
