It is with great joy that I share that a five-year creative project is finally in business!
The idea for The Feelings Fairy popped into my head five years ago. It has gone through many ideations, and I am proud to say that it is an official LLC. The past year has been about letting go of fear, being courageous, taking risks, and loving myself in ways I never have. There have been many moments of joy, excitement, happiness, disappointment, overwhelm, and sadness throughout the process. I am grateful for all the feels because without them I would not have pushed myself to begin this new adventure. As a single mother, taking risks has shown my daughters that they can accomplish anything in life. I am a Wellbeing Coach and Mindfulness Educator passionate about inspiring others to live a life filled with joy! I am excited to offer Wellbeing practices to all ages! Everybody's wellbeing matters!

We all know that the pandemic has brought the great need for mental health and wellbeing support for all. Knowing there is such a great need, I think about the impact on our youth and how they manage to process all of it.
As a professional in mental health and wellbeing, I have had many conversations about what is happening at this moment. One of those conversations was with my friend Heather Bland. Heather is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and family therapist. We met for coffee one day back in March and had the most inspiring conversation. What came of it was our S.E.L.F Workshop. I think at some point in our lives, we have all done this.
Have you ever been told by someone that you aren't good at something, and because of that, you believed it? I think at some point in our lives, this has happened to us. Living in fear is real. But guess what, the only thing that really holds us back from doing something is ourselves. I finally unlocked a small part of my mind to realize that I can be a writer. Finally, I took action on something I have always wanted to do, and I did it. I published my first story! Check it out at: kersti726.medium.com My daughters sat outside in our front yard yesterday drawing. I told them to try drawing for at least 5 minutes. They were there longer then 5 minutes. They returned with such beautiful drawings. The drawings are above!
This morning they asked what today's mindful activity is. We are about to embark on that activity. Today's Activity: Go out for a walk around your neighborhood. Find 5 different plants/flowers. At each one, pause and notice the beauty that it has to offer. Take a picture and create a collage of the 5. Share with someone! Email me at [email protected] to share.
