My personal word of 2018 was Believe. There was so much going on in my life at the end of 2017. So many things inside me, ready to come unleashed. I decided to focus on this word for the entire year. Oh what a year it has been!
To believe is to accept that something is true or real. I had a vision for myself and because I chose to believe, I made that vision become reality. I found my passion and purpose in life; I am a Mindfulness Coach! I sit here on the last morning of 2018 and feel truly grateful for every moment that has unfolded throughout the year. I believe it was all supposed to happen the way that it did. Some things with ease and some with lessons for me to learn. However, because I believe, I know that by trusting the process and knowing that even during the uncomfortable times, work is being done. On the other side of the uncomfortable times always reveals beauty, growth and awareness. I will continue to believe in myself as we venture into 2019. I look forward to all that is waiting for me. However, I sit in this moment, smiling and feeling grateful for all that it is. Blessings to all of you as we bring 2018 to a close!

Day Twenty-two: Today's post is shared by me. I was inspired by yesterday's post and the welcoming of winter. Today we have a full moon which many of us enjoyed viewing it's magical sight last night. I actually shot this photo last night from my front porch. I love the moon. When I view the moon in the sky at night, no matter what phase it is in, I have a sense that everything is going to be okay. I always take a moment, close my eyes and think about how big the moon really is. As I breath deeply in and out, I imagine the moon's bright light surrounding me. I am grateful. Take a moment and think about viewing the moon at night. Notice how it makes you feel. "The moon stays bright when it doesn't avoid the night." -Rumi
Day Twenty-one: Today's post is shared by Grace. I think that it is a perfect post for today, since it so happens to be the first day of winter.
"I love the winter. I have always enjoyed the fresh white snow that falls during the season. I have appreciated the bright white snow because it seems to balance out the shorter days, which create more darkness, therefore not effecting me in a gloomy way. There is something so cleansing about breathing in the crisp winter air." Take a moment and think about winter. Think about how it feels, or smells when you step out into the cold fresh air. Notice how that makes you feel. Thank you, Grace for taking a moment to share something you love! |
