One of the most difficult things to do is to take time out for ourselves. It took me a long time to realize how important it is to take care of myself. When I discovered Mindfulness practices I felt that I needed to do something for myself. It was difficult at first, but the more I practiced regularly, the more I understood what it was doing for me. I look at life very differently now and I am grateful that I dedicated time in taking care of myself on a regular basis. Through my experience, I now offer these practices to anyone willing to take time to dedicate to their own well-being.
Join a weekly group session or schedule one on one sessions to see how you can transform your life. It takes time and dedication, but you are worth it!

I absolutely love working with groups! When one is able to feel comfortable and safe expressing who they really are to people they may or may not know and feel at ease because they aren't the only ones feeling certain ways, magic happens.
Do you feel you need a change in your daily routine or in search of how to break a pattern or habit that only causes unpleasant emotions? Are you in search of making connections with other people? Consider adding a Mindful Group session into your week. There are so many wonderful benefits that Mindfulness can bring to your life. Take a chance and join a group. It may just be what you have been looking for to spark change in your life. Sign up for your first group session on Monday, July 1st at 7pm or Friday, July 5th at 10am. You are worth it! I had the pleasure today to present Mindfulness at Salon Xia's staff meeting. Salon Xia is a small business providing professional hair styling services in the Pasadena area. The owners, Claudia Velasco and Mark Mayner welcomed in my services to provide an opportunity to focus on the Well-Being of their employees. I admire the openness of the talented stylists to take time out on their day off to learn something new.
My offering was focused on how Mindfulness practices can create awareness in the routines and patterns in our lives that have made us predictable. Through Mindfulness practices, we can become curious about these routines and notice if there needs to be a change in order to bring more abundance and joy into our lives. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to present something I am passionate about! Thank you Claudia and Mark! I recently had the opportunity to go into a Child Development class at a local community college. The focus during my talk was to offer the importance of Mindfulness as a future educator and for the students. My belief is that when one is able to go within and work on themselves, then the students they work with will learn to as well.
The students made comments about my talk and created a word cloud, which is shown at the top. I am grateful for their creative expression about my presentation. To learn more about Mindfulness and the benefits of it please contact me at [email protected]. |
